Setting up X9D+ with OpenTX and Switches from Cyclone FPV
  1. Make sure that you have a micro sd card for your transmitter
  2. Click here to download OpenTX Companion Software v2.2.3 (Windows)
  3. Click here to download OpenTX Companion Software v2.2.3 (Mac)
  4. Click here to downlod the OpenTX Card Contents for v2.2.3

  5. Create a folder in your downloads folder called X9D+ and place the downloaded files inside that folder
  6. Extracted the Card Contents files and locate the folder called Sounds. 
  7. Delete all the languages that you will not be using as these take up a large portion of the file space
  8. Once this is done, create a new folder in the X9D+ folder called Card_Contents and copy all the remaining files from the extracted folder to this one. (This will leave you an original working copy if you ever damage the files.
  9. Place your Micro-SD card into your PC and format it
  10. Copy the files from your new Card_Contents folder to your Micro-SD Card
  11. When you are done, safely eject the Micro-SD Card and insert it into your X9D+
  12. Turn on your X9D+ but pressing the two subtrim sticks inwards to the center (these are the two subtrim sticks under your controls - press them towards each other)
  13. While pressing them in towards each other, turn the X9D+ on.
  14. At this point, plug in your USB cable and launch your OpenTX Companion Software.
